Road Closures
The Warwick Half Marathon will take place on Sunday 4th February 2024 and is a ROAD CLOSED event.
Please note the following timings are approximate.
08:30 – Road closures begin to be enforced
09:00 – Race starts, runners leave Warwick Racecourse onto Saltisford, Priory Road & St John’s
09:04 – First runners reach Coventry Road
09:13 – First runners reach Warwick Road
09:18 – First runners reach Woodcote Lane & Rouncil Lane
09:20 – Last runners reach Coventry Road. Saltisford, Priory Road and St John’s can reopen
09:35 – First runners reach Kites Nest Lane
09:40 – Last runners reach Warwick Road. Coventry Road can reopen
09:42 – First runners reach Brownley Green Lane & Birmingham Road
09:50 – First runners reach Ugly Bridge Road & Woodway Lane
09:56 – First runners reach Hampton Road
10:00 – Last runners reach Woodcote Lane. Warwick Road can reopen
10:05 – First runners finish the race
10:15 – Last runners reach Rouncil Lane. Woodcote Lane can reopen
11:00 – Last runners reach Kites Nest Lane. Rouncil Lane can reopen
11:30 – Last runners reach Birmingham Road. Kites Nest Lane and Brownley Green Lane can reopen
11:45 – Last runners reach Ugly Bridge Road. Birmingham Road can reopen
12:15 – Last runners reach Hampton Road. Ugly Bridge Road & Woodway Lane can reopen
12:30 – Last runners finish the race. All roads reopened
